Clear boundaries for a simple tool

Use CompressImageTo50KB responsibly and verify every downloaded image against the requirements of its destination.

Last updated: July 18, 2026.

Acceptance

By using CompressImageTo50KB, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to use the images you select and must not use the tool to violate law, privacy, intellectual property rights or the rules of a destination service.

The service

CompressImageTo50KB provides a browser-based utility that attempts to reduce an image to a selected file-size target. The service may change supported formats, file limits, algorithms and interface behavior as browser capabilities evolve. Availability is not guaranteed, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

No guarantee of third-party acceptance

A result below 50KB may still be rejected because an external portal requires a particular pixel dimension, aspect ratio, color mode, filename, format, photograph standard or byte convention. CompressImageTo50KB is not affiliated with those portals and cannot guarantee that a downloaded result satisfies every rule. Review the destination instructions and verify the final file before submitting it.

Quality and backups

Image compression can reduce visual quality and dimensions. Keep an untouched copy of the original file. Do not use a highly compressed result as the only archive of an important photograph, scan or design. You are responsible for deciding whether a result is sufficiently clear and accurate for its intended use.

Prohibited use

You may not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security controls, distribute malicious files, misuse automated access or represent CompressImageTo50KB as an official tool of another organization. You may not use the service to process material when doing so infringes the rights of another person.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a specific filing requirement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for rejected applications, lost files, lost opportunities or indirect damages arising from use of the tool.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms when the service changes. Continued use after an updated version is published means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
